1.What's your full name?

Troy Daniel Brown

2. When's your birthday?

September 9th…Virgo

3. How long have you been w/STS?

I Started “Twice Almost Lucky…” in late 1999…changed members and changed the name in 2001 I think.

4. How did you meet the other members of STS?

I met Will while working at a Carpet Store during High School. My mom actually told me about Derek…guess she was sitting next to his Mom at some wedding…you know how proud moms are…gotta “brag” about their sons. Derk was living in AZ. at the time so I called him up. Meet Dann through our producer who had worked with his band out of Colorado.

5. How did you come up w/the name STS?

I actually liked the name “Twice Almost Lucky…” a.k.a. “2AL”, but our producer strongly suggested that we change the name. Once Will was on board we took his advice…We had about a thousand names that we all threw out. I suggested “Small Town Sleeper” after talking with my wife. I loved the idea of being a “sleeper” like a movie not expected to do well, but ends up doing very well. I wanted to just call the band “Sleeper”, but about a thousand other bands had already used that name. It’s hard to copy write a one word name. Anyway…I kept saying “Sleeper Small Town”, but my wife suggested “Small Town Sleeper” so I threw it out to the guys. None of us could agree…I didn’t love or hate it, Will hated it because he thought people would think we wrote music to put people to “sleep”. We later convinced him. It was the only name we were all “o.k” with, and our producer loved it. Since that name we have had a ton of member changes, and talked of changing the name again, but we didn’t want the hassle or confusion.

7. What is the craziest thing a fan(s) have ever done for u?
Get tattoo’s…that was crazy and humbling.

8. What is the best thing about being a part of STS?
Playing music for a living with guys that want “it” as bad as I do.

9. Is there a downside to being a part of STS?
Like every relationship there are up’s and downs…Think of being married to 3 other people with totally different personalities… needless to say, it isn’t always the easiest thing in the world.

Daniel Louis Burd.

2. When's your birthday?
May 10th.

3. How long have you been w/STS?
I have been with Small Town Sleeper for years as of Last March 6th.

4. How did you meet the other members of STS?
I met the STS guys in January of '06. the guy that was producing STS was also producing the band I was in back in Colorado, Ben Park Drive. He, the producer, called me on new years eve and informed me of the drummer vacancy that STS had and asked if I would be interested in auditioning. How could I say no??? Those guy's are amazing....The rest is history, present ans an amazing future.....

5. Fave Food
Favorite food has to be a 3-way tie....Italian, Mexican and Steak....I can hurt me some cooked cow.....

6. What is the craziest thing a fan(s) have ever done for u?
Bought us a star. I'm talking an actual, in the sky, lit and glowing star. They also had a tat of our logo done on themselves...Pretty crazy people...However, they are also too cool....They have been amazing to us...They know who they are...

7. What is the best thing about being a part of STS?
The brotherhood and friendship...Troy, Derek and Will have treated me with nothing but respect. Seeing the country and hopefully the world with 3 of my best friends is definately a close 2nd....

8. Is there a downside to being a part of STS?
The ONLY downside to being in STS was having to leave my family and friends back in Colorado....HOWEVER, the trade-off of getting to be in this band, with these guys and our fans made it well worth while....

9. Biggest Pet Peeve
I'm sure I'll come up with another one after I hit send here...And I know I'm guilty of this as well...But when people don't return phone calls or emails....It drive's me NUTZ!!!!!!!

BEING APART OF A GROUP THAT LOVES MUSIC AND PLAYING OUT AS MUCH AS I DO.

WELL THERES A DOWN SIDE TO EVERY SITUATION BUT LIFE IS ALL ABOUT FINDING THAT BALANCE

Ryan Christopher Monge (It's Italian... as far as I know)

2. When's your birthday?
Christmas Eve!!! 12/24/1984 (that makes me 24...)

3. How long have you been w/STS?
Got asked to play with STS at the storytellers show in late November 2008... Best night Ever!!! First Show was NYE 2009.

4. How did you meet the other members of STS?
Derek and I knew each other from school but not really well. I knew about small town sleeper from the town and he showed up at a few of my other band's shows. Whenever he was in town we always got into conversations about music and whatnot... got introduced to troy at the storytellers show and Dann at the first practice.

5. Fave food
My Grandma's Ravioli... Legendary!

6. What is the craziest thing a fan(s) have ever done for you?
Well haven't had too much experience just yet... I'd guess I'd have to say the smooch I got on stage during the bracken's show... not expecting it... but who can argue right?

7. What is the best thing about being a part of STS?
Definitely the friendships made already... Troy, Dann, and Derek are truely amazing guys who I consider awesome friends already... other than that... no joke... The fans are the coolest in the world. I love their energy, enthusiasm and support. I feel like I'm in a different world at STS shows because the fans are that good.

8. Is there a downside to being a part of STS?
Not at all... Other than the infectious need to play all the freakin' time... damn STS and their great shows!!!

9. Biggest Pet Peeve
I hate people that think they are better than everyone else. There's nothing that I like more than watching people who think they are cool fall on their faces. Serves 'em right! We are all dorks... get over it and be nice to people already!!!
